Stainless Steel Filter Press Applications
Stainless steel filter presses provide hygienic, corrosion-resistant filtration for food, pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology industries, ensuring efficient solid-liquid separation, product purity and reliable processing performance.
Food Industry
Stainless steel filter presses are widely used for juice, wine, syrup, edible oil and beverage clarification, ensuring hygienic filtration, stable product quality and efficient solid-liquid separation.
Pharmaceutical Industry
In pharmaceutical production, stainless steel filter presses ensure sterile filtration of medicines, extracts and biological solutions while maintaining high purity, corrosion resistance and compliance with strict hygiene standards.
Chemical Industry
For chemical processing, stainless steel filter presses provide reliable filtration of chemicals, catalysts and suspensions, offering corrosion resistance, high pressure filtration performance and efficient solid-liquid separation.
Stainless Steel Filter Press Working Principle
A stainless steel filter press operates through pressure filtration to achieve efficient solid-liquid separation. Slurry or liquid material is pumped into the filter chambers formed by a series of filter plates and filter frames.
Under pressure, the liquid passes through the filter cloth or membrane and exits through the filtrate outlets, while solid particles are retained inside the chambers. As filtration continues, these solids gradually accumulate and form a filter cake.
After the filtration cycle is completed, the plates are opened and the filter cake is discharged. The equipment is then ready for the next filtration cycle, ensuring continuous and efficient operation.
Stainless Steel VS Conventional Filter Press
Stainless steel filter presses offer superior hygiene, corrosion resistance and easy cleaning compared with conventional filter presses, making them ideal for food, pharmaceutical and high-purity industrial filtration applications.
| Item | Stainless Steel Filter Press | Conventional Filter Press |
|---|---|---|
